Grigor Machanents Babakhanyan

1969 born in Gay village of Ejmiatsin region 
1985 starred in the film by “Armenfilm” studio called “We Will Still Meet” 
1986 graduated from Gay secondary school with silver medal 
1987 founded Cross of Armenian Unity Cultural Charitable NGO and is the president of the organization up to this date 
1988 served in the Soviet army 
1990 graduated from Armenian State Pedagogical Institute after
Kh. Abovyan, Faculty of Culture, Film and Photo Department 
1998 founded a carpet weaving manufactory in Ejmiatsin “Machanents Rugs” 
2007 founded Arpinet LLC which provided internet services in Armavir and Aragatsotn regions 
2011 founded Machanents House Social Enterprise which aims at developing tourism.

2007 starred in the film by Shirin Anderson “Traces of Charents”.

2007 - 2012 shot the films “Prostitution”, “Back Home”, “Shores of Heaven” and the social videos “Don’t Leave Your Motherland”, “Don’t Poke Your Nose in Others Affairs”, “Know your Motherland, Kid!”, “Wash the World, Mum!”, “World”, “Creation”, “Clean World”.

2018 shot the films “Notice the One Near You”, “Found Dream”, “Give Happiness”, “We are With You 1”, “We are With You 2” social films.

2018 staged the grotesque drama “Appointment with Jesus” based on the play written by him.
