Machanents 10th International Art Anniversary Symposium is organized by Cross of Armenian Unity Cultural Charitable NGO with the support of ''Machanents House'' social enterprise, with the support of ''Machanents Wine'', ''Arpinet'' LLC and ''Innovative Ethnic Regional Center''. Information sponsor is Arpi Media company. The partner of the Symposium is Artists’ Union of Armenia.

1. ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The goal of the symposium is:

• To make an opportunity for foreign and Armenian artists to meet and share their experience.
• To complement the collection of the constantly active Machanents International Art Gallery, promoting intercultural dialogue.

Machanents 8th International Art Symposium is entitled «Flight».

THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION of the works created during the Symposium will be held on the last day of the Symposium (August 7).

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SYMPOSIUM?

The artists should send to the following email address: machanentssymposium@gmail.com

1.   their CV (Résumé),
2.   1 photo
3.   a portfolio consisting of 10 paintings

After receiving your application, the selection committee of ''Machanents'' International Art Symposium will answer you within 15 working days.
Application deadline is on June 1.

3. THE TERMS OF THE SYMPOSIUM FOR ARTISTS FROM ABROAD

Organizer provides:

•   Transfer from the airport to the hotel and the opposite direction
•   7 days stay at the hotel
•   3 meals a day
•   Unlimited coffee and tea
•   2 canvases
•   Cultural evenings
•   Participation certificate
•   City and countryside tours

The participant should:

•   Pay the participation fee - 350$
•   Cover the flight cost
•   Cover the visa cost /if necessary/
•   Bring paints and brushes
•   The participants donate 2 paintings born during the symposium to Cross of Armenian Unity NGO. The right of the further disposal of the paintings passes to Cross of Armenian Unity NGO.

4. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where will the participants stay?

The accommodation of the participants is provided by the supporter of the Symposium ''Machanents House'' Social Enterprise. The participants will stay at the comfortable rooms of Machanents Hotel Comlex. They will share double, triple and quadruple rooms. Participants who apply earlier will have the opportunity to share double rooms.

Where will the participants paint?
The Participants will paint at Machanents garden.

What is the topic of painting?
The topic of creation is free, the approaches are free creative.
* exception: political themed paintings are not encouraged and will not be exhibited.
